An 18-year-old man has been charged with murder after the fatal stabbing of schoolboy Daejaun Campbell, 15, in Woolwich, south-east London. Daejaun was found with a stab wound on Eglinton Road shortly after 6:30 PM BST on Sunday and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jacob Losiewicz, 18, of Church Manor Way, Abbey Wood, is scheduled to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
A second individual arrested on suspicion of murder has been released without charge, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Detective Chief Superintendent Trevor Lawry stated that investigators are working tirelessly on the case. “Local officers will remain in the area while we continue with our investigation,” he added, urging anyone with information regarding Daejaun’s death to come forward.
